Overview Consultations
Verra is committed to managing standards programs that verifiably advance climate action and sustainable development. We engage stakeholders to ensure that all Verra programs reflect the latest scientific research, best practices, and technological innovations, and that they are as practical and efficient as possible. We also rely on stakeholder feedback on projects as they go through the validation and verification process.
Public Consultations
Verra runs transparent and rigorous public consultations on new standards programs, program updates, new methodologies, and updates to existing methodologies.
Projects Open for Public Comment
We hold at least one public comment period for any project that seeks registration.
To see a list of all projects that are currently open for public comment, please do the following:
- Visit the Verra Registry.
- Select Programs (top navigation menu).
- Select the desired program; a list of projects will be displayed on the selected program page.
- Search by project ID or filter the Status column for Under validation (public comment period open).
- Double-click a project to see its details.
- Select the URL under Public Comment Period URL in the bottom row of the Overview section.
- The public comment page will open in the Verra Project Hub.
- Make sure to read the disclaimers and add the requested information.
- You can upload one document, including a ZIP file.
